Career acomplishments
With over 12 years of experience in journalism, content strategy, and social media management, I have developed a robust portfolio of successes in enhancing audience engagement and driving strategic growth across various digital platforms.
My recent experience allowed me to lead the Social Media strategy at USA Today, where I oversaw the development and execution of social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Previously, I was the Director of Programming at McClatchy, where I significantly boosted audience engagement through targeted SEO strategies and innovative content initiatives. Before McClatchy, I enriched the content strategy at Meta as a Content Manager, focusing on optimizing content for high engagement and reach. My career is marked by a consistent track record of developing compelling content and implementing effective marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences and drive business objectives.
What can I do for your brand?
I'm César Salza, a trusted tech expert for Hispanics. I talk on TV about smartphones, fitness gadgets, social media, tech in general, and the next big trend. I love to test devices and tell the audience all they need to know to get the next big thing that will change their lives.
I consider myself a resource to help brands communicate in a way that will resonate with Millennials, Gen Z and Gen Alpha . As a TV host, I'm capable to engage with the audience with the right approach. When I started my career as an anchor for a morning TV show, grandparents will call the station to say finally somebody explains something in a way they will understand. Yes, I'm that kind of guy.
I have been a contributor in the last year for Univision through Entravision, Telemundo from San Francisco, and CNN en Español for Clix here and there. I was a senior editor for CNET en Español, until the new owners decided to shut down the website, in November 2020.
